Why did Obama pick as a director of Homeland security one with the worst record? What is the real intention of this Kenyan, Indonesian communist usurper? Is it to provide security for us or to destroy our security? Judge for yourself.

Seeing targeted destruction of our economy, our security, dissipation of American jobs, massive corruption in the Government, Congress Department of Justice and Judiciary, it might be time to start rallies and protests using our second amendment right to bare arms and organise in militias.

The Obama socialist Christmas tree decoration program has the wingnuts up in arms about Yule balls. This year, the White House enlisted schools and community groups across the country to help collage balls for their Christmas tree. As a result, objectionable and degenerate art images — such as Andy Warhol’s painting of Mao, Mt. Rushmore with Obama’s head pasted adjacent, and a drag queen flanked by rainbows — were pasted by volunteers atop at least three separate balls. These send strong signals to FReepers that the Obama Administration, like its Rainbow Mao Xmas balls, is unpatriotic and mocks religious values.

The gravestone marked “R.I.P. Donald Young” refers to a choir director from Chicago that many wingnuts believe was murdered to cover up homosexual escapades and crack use between Obama, a man named Larry Sinclair, and Young. Really, people think this.

If you have a hobby that you are skilled at, barter for other things. Your main job is what you make money at.

Obama Risks A Domestic Military “Intervention”

There is a remote, although gaining, possibility America’s military will intervene as a last resort to resolve the “Obama problem.” Don’t dismiss it as unrealistic.America isn’t the Third World. If a military coup does occur here it will be civilized. That it has never happened doesn’t mean it wont. Describing what may be afoot is not to advocate it. So, view the following through military eyes:

• Officers swear to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.” Unlike enlisted personnel, they do not swear to “obey the orders of the president of the United States.”
• Top military officers can see the Constitution they are sworn to defend being trampled as American institutions and enterprises are nationalized.
• They can see that Americans are increasingly alarmed that this nation, under President Barack Obama, may not even be recognizable as America by the 2012 election, in which he will surely seek continuation in office.
• They can see that the economy — ravaged by deficits, taxes, unemployment, and impending inflation — is financially reliant on foreign lender governments.
• They can see this president waging undeclared war on the intelligence community, without whose rigorous and independent functions the armed services are rendered blind in an ever-more hostile world overseas and at home.
• They can see the dismantling of defenses against missiles targeted at this nation by avowed enemies, even as America’s troop strength is allowed to sag.
• They can see the horror of major warfare erupting simultaneously in two, and possibly three, far-flung theaters before America can react in time.
• They can see the nation’s safety and their own military establishments and honor placed in jeopardy as never before.

So, if you are one of those observant military professionals, what do you do?

Wait until this president bungles into losing the war in Afghanistan, and Pakistan’s arsenal of nuclear bombs falls into the hands of militant Islam?

Wait until Israel is forced to launch air strikes on Iran’s nuclear-bomb plants, and the Middle East explodes, destabilizing or subjugating the Free World?

What happens if the generals Obama sent to win the Afghan war are told by this president (who now says, “I’m not interested in victory”) that they will be denied troops they must have to win? Do they follow orders they cannot carry out, consistent with their oath of duty? Do they resign en masse?

Or do they soldier on, hoping the 2010 congressional elections will reverse the situation? Do they dare gamble the national survival on such political whims?

Anyone who imagines that those thoughts are not weighing heavily on the intellect and conscience of America’s military leadership is lost in a fool’s fog.

Will the day come when patriotic general and flag officers sit down with the president, or with those who control him, and work out the national equivalent of a “family intervention,” with some form of limited, shared responsibility?

Imagine a bloodless coup to restore and defend the Constitution through an interim administration that would do the serious business of governing and defending the nation. Skilled, military-trained, nation-builders would replace accountability-challenged, radical-left commissars. Having bonded with his twin teleprompters, the president would be detailed for ceremonial speech-making.

Military intervention is what Obama’s exponentially accelerating agenda for “fundamental change” toward a Marxist state is inviting upon America. A coup is not an ideal option, but Obama’s radical ideal is not acceptable or reversible.

Unthinkable? Then think up an alternative, non-violent solution to the Obama problem. Just don’t shrug and say, “We can always worry about that later.”

In the 2008 election, that was the wistful, self-indulgent, indifferent reliance on abnegation of personal responsibility that has sunk the nation into this morass.

This has been on my mind for some time now as a real possibility.

For an alleged intellectual (which he ain’t!), Obama has been rather stupid in his treatment of and words about the military folks here (active and former — and there are a lot of them).

Emerging tyrants throughout history have either had to coopt the military or, like Stalin and others, eliminate the upper ranks and replace the officer corps with loyalists.

The bad news is that the service academies have been gradually infested with leftists teaching PC, multi-culturalism, internationalist One World crap for several decades. It’s anyone’s guess how these officers still on active duty will respond.

And if such an event does take place, I suspect there will be a division along racial lines but no way to tell what the numbers would look like.

Like the author, I believe it would be a fairly civil affair but, again, now way to be certain. It COULD get ugly before it is resolved.

I HOPE that oath they took to defend the Constitution — which I also took in 1962 — prevails and we can get back to undoing the damage Obama has done and get on with striving to be the America the Founders envisioned.

I’d write more but am off to rent the remake of “Seven Days in May.” The one with the HAPPY ending.

is there anyone else out there that feels something is so imminent, they cannot sleep. Maybe it’s the not knowing.Who would have ever believed in the USA

What follows is more than a hundred late-night comments revealing, completely un-self-consciously, their most paranoid fantasies and fears: of the new dual-purpose H1N1 quarantine / political re-education camps being built; worrying that noises in the night will turn out to be tanks rolling down the street bringing Obama’s Marxist takeover; speculation about UFOs watching us over Walla Walla, Washington; and several posts about how these troubles with insomnia began, interestingly enough, when they started watching Glenn Beck …

Watching and listening here in the canyon of hell. Things are quiet out there tonight. Almost too quiet. A cluster of trees hides me as I linger out on the point near the highway. No cars running. Maybe it thinks thats where the smell is coming from. We are both the same then. Dead quiet waiting for the bagger to move on but watching him intently. The bagger stops on the sidewalk and swats at his feet like something is biting him inside of his shoes. Move on sagger bagger, move on. He does. The cat leaves. I wait a bit and continue on the perimeter. Down by the river now. It was a hot day today in the 90s but now its cool at midnight except the river is still warm and smelling. You can smell every dead fish along its shore for a mile I think. That kind of humid dank river smell. Nothing. Everything is quiet. No unrelated body parts laying around causing me to stumble in the dark. The RV park downstream on the river a ways is quiet too. See? Everything is spooky quiet tonight. Too quiet. No explosions, no far off yelling and screaming, no meth labs blowing up and no coyotes yipping…

Binoculars to the sky now. UFO’s where are you? I know you are UP THERE… somewhere… watching me… nothing. DAMN. Just Venus. Venus is something I guess. The moon long ago set. Wait, is that light moving? Nope just a star. Not like a few weeks ago when that highly unusual object was doing 100 mile wide loops around eastern washington, from the eastern border all the way over to the airspace over walla walla some hundred miles away and back again. It got so small at the far end of its loop that it was almost gone in the binocs. But back it came, over and over and I swear one time when it was right over my house I saw 2 of them. Like it had split apart into 2 identical vehicles. A chevron shape and not much more. No fuselage. But tonight its even quiet in the heavens too…

So that my report. I came back inside to read FR. and low and behold here is a thread about what I was just thinking. SOMETHING BIG IS IMMINENT. I even wrote that same thing on a different forum just 2 days ago, like somewhere out there someone is planning or plotting to spring something on someone soon. Can’t put my finger on it. But I am being vigilant. Vigilance at all times. Everything seems quiet in the Pacific North West right now. Maybe I can sleep this morning. If I can stop trying to figure out this Glenn Beck thing that happened today. End of report. Bye. ”
